New York's Rockefeller Center Ice Rink Opens

The Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center will open on Columbus Day weekend to start off the 2010-11 winter season. As the world’s most famous ice skating rink, it has more than one quarter of a million skaters visiting every year between October and April.
