Paris.
If you’re living or traveling in Paris next year, you’ll be able to rent new-generation electric cars.
Europcar will introduce the Peugeot iON and Citroen C-Zero into the European car rental market in 2011.
The company predicts these new cleaner electric cars will enable travelers to drive up to 150km with a fully charged battery.
Following the introduction of the two new models, Europcar will install the infrastructure to recharge the batteries at its 2,500 car rental locations.
The company has committed to an environmental approach to car rental and sustainable development.
In 1999, Europcar opened its first environmental station for electric cars in Paris.
