Austin-Lehman Adventures plans new 2011 tours in Israel, Jordan and Morocco.

The active travel company says its clients have been requesting these “dream” destinations for years.

Here are the new tours:

• Israel & Jordan – Tel Aviv to Petra: “Step back in time as you explore a land steeped in culture, history and mysticism. Groups of no more than 12 participants will journey to the city of Jerusalem, explore the mountain refuge of Masada, and tour the ancient synagogues of Galilee and the sandstone “Red Rose” city of Petra by foot, camel and Segway.“

• Morocco – Fez to Marrakech: “‘Kasbahs, Camels and Souks’ takes guests from the imperial cities of Fez and Meknes to the desert sands of the Sahara. Along the way, travelers will soak up Morocco’s finest souks and Kasbahs, local Berber culture and the spectacular High Atlas scenery on foot, camel, bike and four-wheel vehicle.”
